is the power source of this toy? TOP It
only needs two to four AA batteries, 3 to 6VDC, to
operate. Please NEVER use any other power source!
Can
I use my projects for my home electronics applications? TOP
No. The
projects in the manual are for playing and learning.
They are not designed for consumer products, such as the
doorbell and burglar alarm. Please do not use any
extension wires or other components beyond this kit!
Can
I create any circuits I want with this kit?
TOP
No. This kit has certain
electrical value designed and may not work for some wild
creations. Your creation must follow with the
Instruction Book.
If
you want to understand more detail about electronics
theory, please refer to an electronics textbook.
I
completed my
project, but it does not work. What should I do?
TOP
After you finish the assembly, do a final check before
you turn on the power. Always use the switch to turn on
or off the circuit based on the manual. If
the circuit is not working, do not panic. Do
troubleshooting as following:
-Did I miss something? Check your assembly against the
diagram carefully.
-Are all snaps fully connected? Any rust or dirt on the
snaps? Clean them if necessary.
- Are the batteries fresh? Always use new
batteries.
-Has the bulb burned out? Bulb is easy to get from any
hardware stores.

1-120, Project 14-16:
The circuit
drawing has a error:
The connect point B should
be the point C and the point C should be the B.
Manual
1-120, Project 5: In this project, the
bulb will not be bright because it acts as a resistor
for the motor protection. Otherwise, the motor may
burned out with too much power. If you put the Proj 5 in
a dark place, you will see the bulb with a little light
because the motor shares the current.
To avoid damage of the
components, please be aware as following:
-
Follow
the instruction on manual.
-
Please
press on the snap button or plastic pad only, not
the components.
-
Please do
not put any parts on the battery pad (it will cause
circuit short and damaged the parts and battery).
Please read the "Notice" on the 1st page of the
manual.
-
Please do
not use 2 battery holders (6V, 4 batteries) for a
single motor or single bulb circuit, which may
damage the motor or bulb.
Motor Related Projects:
For For safe play, the speed of the mini DC motor in
this kit is designed to turn slowly. Turn on the
switch for motor without the fan blade to see if it
works. The adult supervision for motor projects is
highly recommended.
